one word (select your favorite) - incredible! amazing!

two words (select your favorite) - heartbreakingly beautiful! incredibly profound!

What? You need more than 1 or 2 words?

Could you please give me a little more info? Analyze in what way? I could probably give you some references from "Letters of JRR Tolkien" - he writes many things about his writing and what influences him.

I think tolkien belongs to the 'spend your entire life working and reworking a single piece of literature' class of writing.

Well, for the basics, he writes in High Style prose, in the tradition of the heroic romance, which is what the Lord of the Rings is. But what exactly is the assignment? And are you analyzing certain passages? And is it just the Lord of the Rings?
