Elves do not get sick. The only thing that would come close, and they could die from it, was to be pierced by a poisonous arrow or spear, and they could sicken and die from the poison. That's it. They knew no disease.

i have a really bad headache, obviously from a poisoned arrow. (as you can see im thouroughly convinced i am an elf) (and if i can i will get plastic surgery and get pointy ears as well)
