The history of Shannara

There's a shannara thread but it doesn't really mention the ancient history of Shannara. I think the best book of the Shannara series was actually the prequel "The First King of Shannara" . Now I want brooks to do as tolkien did and write the hiistory about the Great War which changed the shape of the earth and before then. I'm especially interested in the war of good and evil.

Jerlee Shannara is kind of a parallel to Gil-Galad, although he doesn't die while trying to defeat the enemy.

I think it'd be cool if he wrote a history too, but I heard that he doesnt like focusing on the past, and it took a lot of convincing for him to even write The First Kng.
