Who would you go with?

If you could stay with one character in Lord of the Rings and help them and go through everything they did, whom would it be?

I'd help Frodo and Sam, they really could have used moral supprt.

I don't know. I'd be afraid to go with Frodo and Sam, because one little different thing could ruin the Quest. Maybe I'd go with Merry and Eowyn.

Frodo and Sam?! Are you crazy? That's the most frightening journey I can think of. There's no way in Hell you're getting me in Shelob's Lair.

I would hang out with CÃ*rdan at the Grey Havens, beautiful place, wise guy, no danger or frightening monsters, sounds like a good investment.

... Well I'd be quite interested to hang around Gollum... but then, he got tortured, didn't he? I guess, I'll go with Sam - he's so cool, I don't think I'd even care about big giant Shelob!

thats tough because i don't know if i have any skill that would worthwhile

everyone save the hobbits were trained warriors

everyone in the fellowship had greater endurance than any of us here

many if i went with sam and frodo they might have thought i was a southron and that may have helped

but the rangers of ithelin would probably have killed me at first site or at lest taken me prisoner

i couldn't keep up with the 3 hunters

the orce were told to capture only hobbits to merry and pippin are out

to Rosie Cotton who started this thread can and some varibles here

because otherwise we'd probably all be dead if we went on any dangerous part

If you could have only one Lord of the Rings character on an island with, in complete isolation for the rest of your life, which character would you choose and why?

I think I would have to pick... Gandalf... at least you could have some nice fireworks while you were stranded!!
