Strider How do you do it?

Is there any way to learn Elvish? I really want to, did Tolkien write anything on it?

There is actually an elvish dictionary you can get with all the letters, grammar rules, and most if not all elvish words. If I remember correctly its a rather slim book with a red cover. One problem though is you have to decide what variance of the language you would like to learn. There are several, my personal favorite is Sindarin though I have never actually learned any of them but done a couple quick skimmings of the language. Good luck to you by the way. Also be sure to check out the languages of the dwarfs and men.

I think this is the book you're talking about. http://http://www.amazon.com/Languag...3967774&sr=1-1 I have it and highly recommend it! I learned a lot of Elvish from it, as well as other stuff about Tolkien's languages. To complely learn though, you might have to combine it with a few other sources.
