Reanimation is their second album - released 2002 (it has a lot of the same songs on it as Hybrid Theory, like One Step Closer, Points of Authority etc)

I think they were just reworked a bit - to give it some more oomph, some of them did better on the second cd (I think - haven't listened to it in a long time)

I figure that they were too busy with all the commercial advertisements in magazines, the music videos for MTV, the clothes, creating hype, mastering those tricky root fifth chords etc.
