anyone have a good theme?

i need one for my bar mitzvah........................................... ............Just wanted to know what you thought. I mught do a musical instrument theme.

How about a murder mystery?? Heck your mom is such a good writer, I bet she could even plan it out and write it up. Mike wrote one for a party the local graphic design assocation......if he can do it, surely your mom won't have a problem.

Murder mysteries are cool, but we did that for one of my birthday parties a few years back .

Here's a thought: how about a good old traditional Jewish bar mitzvah? No theme? Just an idea

If you do instruments, you could decorate in black, gold and silver...the color of most musical instruments....except for the stringed instruments such as violins and such. If you went to a party source store, they would probably have instrument themed decorations. You could hire a jazz band, although it maybe a lot of money and you might not like jazz. But it sure would be a cool tie-in with the decorations.

the thing is, I ONLY want band instruments as the decorations and center pieces no icky strings....
