I write Horror as in Vampire types of stuff. Anne Rice is an excellent Horror writer. It really depends on what kind of horror you're looking for. Do you want to write something more like a thriller or something about demons and vampires? Fiction Press is perfect for reading any kind of story imaginable. this is one of my favorite FP.net stories. I recommend it if you're writing Horror (not thriller).

It depends on what type of horror you want. I mean do you want to write a psycological horror, gothic horror, thrillers or mythical horror, or others like those?

My favorite genre is horror, and I try to weave stories from either a religious standpoint, or even with actual events or legends. I like to give people the impretion that what I write about could really happen.

"There!"
"What is it?"
"A crab."
"A crab? I dont see any crab."
"How?! It's right there!!"
"Where?"
"There!!!!"
"Oh."

The only horror I've written so far is with Vampires. Really the only advice I can give you is think about what would creep you or scare you and put it on paper. The thing with horror is you can make up your own rules. At least if your using creatures from old legends. But I'm sure it can go for any type of horror
