Is sir Toppum Hatt a hobbit?

This may seem random but is sir Toppum Hatt a hobbit?

I ask this becoulse:
1:He talks about breakfast a lot (to much for the race of man

).
2:He is unusaly short and round.
3:Hobbits would probably like steam trains.

So what do you think?

you got a good point there it is very possible that he is an evolved hobbit who happens to look like a wooden doll

Wow. I had no idea Thomas the Tank Engine was still a cultural staple after all these years. The TV versions haven't been the same since Ringo Starr quit narrating, though.

I think you're on to something! He is rather hobbity, isn't he?!

Yeah, Ringo did the best job. I never could get into George Carlin's readings - yuck!

We still have all our Thomas trains - the little metal kind. I can't bear to throw them away!

Whoa...I never thought of this! Although I don't think hobbits would really like steam trains...to industrialized (see "Scouring of the Shire")
