1,3,7,9, where's 5?

1 for the Dark Lord
3 for the Elves
7 for the Dwarves
9 for the Men

Where's five?
5 for Hobbits?
Ents?
Orcs?!?!

And who would wield them?

Sorry forgot to say Rings. If there were 5 Rings of Power left over who would have them?

5 Wizards?

They were given by Sauron to the lawyers of ME. They were called the five rings of power of attorney and they were very evil!

where's 5?

Great minds must think alike Bullroarer.
I was thinking about that exact same thing a couple of days ago. It sure does seem like there ought to be a group of 5 rings to complement the others.

Re: where's 5?

If there was a group of five then it wouldn't be the year Tolkien died.

Re: where's 5?

yes - they were given to a tribe of semi-humans in the far East (past Rhun) who obsessed over athletic ability & shot themselves full of steroids every chance they got. They were called the Olympirhim. & they were the reason that Aragorn didn't like travelling around Rhun - because compared to them, he was puny.

if that answer's not good enough, how about this -

the 5 were in the keeping of Tom Bombadil - but he lost them!

Re: where's 5?

Or perhaps the Druadan have them?
Or, wait, maybe the five wizards had them to begin with but traded them in for better gimicks.

Hehe. Nice to see you back Antau, it's been awhile (if you check his profile, you'll see he posted some messages in forums of Entmoot that haven't existed in 9 months )

Re: rings

Have you ever heard the English Christmas carol "The Twelve Days of Christmas"? The one where the singer's true love gives him/her a present for each day? On the fifth day, the present is five golden rings.
